Hi, I’m Tina, a Physician Assistant at OutPsych!
Here’s what shapes how I practice:
I bring over twenty years of experience in internal medicine, gender-affirming care, and psychiatry, with a focus on helping people who have been misunderstood or minimized in traditional care settings. I’m also a queer clinician who has spent my entire career working within LGBTQ+ communities.
I provide gender-affirming hormone therapy for adults and teens, informed by leading national guidelines and personalized to fit your goals. Whether you’re beginning your transition or refining an existing regimen, we’ll move at your pace and on your terms. My goal is for you to feel seen, respected, and in control of your care.
I also provide sexual health care, including PrEP, doxy-PEP, STI testing and treatment, and contraception, all in a space that is queer, poly, and kink-affirming.
I have deep expertise in working with people with ADHD and autism, especially those who mask symptoms or fall outside diagnostic boxes designed by and for neurotypical, cisgender men. My approach is comprehensive, affirming, and grounded in your lived experience, not someone else’s idea of “normal.”
I also work closely with people navigating PMDD, perimenopause, and menopausal mood changes, where shifting hormones can intensify anxiety, depression, or attention difficulties. As a certified menopause practitioner, I integrate hormonal treatment into psychiatric care when helpful, balancing evidence-based medicine with deep respect for what your body already knows.
My patients often describe me as direct, irreverent, curious, and kind — someone who values clarity, humor, and the quiet power of collaboration. I believe trust is sacred, and I take my time earning it.
When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me on my yoga mat, on adventures with my wife and son around DC, being ambushed by our cats during telehealth calls, or watching figure skating (I used to compete!).
